With Elena children between 4 and 8 from border regions learn to speak their neighbouring languages. In a powerful, authentic learning environment they acquire the basics of German, French and Dutch.

Elena consists of 10 themes, based on the experiences of children. Elena is also the central character in every theme! She is a 7 year old girl and moved with her father and mother (Auguste and Marie Colson), her sister Sophie and her dog Misty to the land of the target language, where her parents start a restaurant.
